We too did the "sort of" cry it out method, though I would go into my son's room at increasingly longer intervals. He would cry and I would wait 2 minutes then go check on him and soothe. Then I would leave and wait 5 minutes. Then 10 minutes (while he cried). I never had to go past the 10 minute mark and today he's a champion sleeper! (Age 5). Our doctor gave us the great advice, and I'm only sharing this because I saw that your daughter took some serious naps during the day. He said that each minute you steal away from a nap would be gained in nighttime sleep. Therefore we never let our son take more than a 2 hour or so nap at any given time. He was doing two 2-hour naps at one point, then went down to the one 2-hour nap. Either way it worked. When my son was 3 months old he slept from about 8pm until about 5:30am. Then it was 6:30, then 7! Oh happy day. He still sleeps from about 8pm til 7am. :) good luck!Debihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17230036747029697389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1542778742594289493.post-9453906658838950992010-05-20T18:49:46.450-04:002010-05-20T18:49:46.450-04:00awesome :) so blessed!awesome :) so blessed!Amy Middletonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11881017175094662841noreply@blogger.com
